Coral and fish are abundant here and the visibility excellent. Another excellent snorkeling destination is Two Step in Honaunau Bay. Easy to enter the water with an abundance of fish to see. Hike ancient trails along the coast, explore historic Hawaiian monuments and try stand up paddle boarding in the bay. You can reserve a local guide, to complete your authentic Hawaiian adventure.

This beloved area encompasses the protected agricultural land that sweeps down Napo’opo’o Road through the green foothills of Mauna Loa to the stunning Kealakekua Bay Historical Reserve, along the undeveloped coastline. Here lies beautiful land and the perfect South Kona microclimate, with abundant sun and gentle Kona breezes, and the state’s most pristine snorkeling water. Lovely Manini and Ke’ei beaches, Two Step, the Captain Cook monument, Pu’uhonua O’ Honaunau and Honaunau Bay are all close by.
